Digital Image Enhancement and Reconstruction as a subject nowadays is a
constantly evolving and emerging area of image processing. The enhancement
of different types of images along with the sufficient restoration of
their important features have now become an interdisciplinary study and
is one of the fastest-growing technologies around the world. In modern
multimedia information systems, where a huge amount of images are utilized
for image recognition and classification using Machine Learning and
Deep Learning techniques, image enhancement and reconstruction are the
primary steps of processing. The other major applications of image enhancement
